Reece regularly takes on various forms of studio and live session work, finding himself playing different styles and adapting to different musical situations in the process. 2024 alone was varied musical year for him- from pop gigs where playback and cues are a huge factor in the execution of the show (with artists such as Cammy Barnes), to large audiences with bands such as 80’s icons Big Country, where no click or playback is used.

Reece’s experience playing in a session environment has helped him become a more rounded player.

 

From last minute dep work, to playing with his heroes, he has become efficient at learning new material, enhanced his playing where he can adapt to different styles and direction from an artist / MD, and is always punctual.
